    This ad is truly effective for a reason that I think may seem strange to many – it is not overtly political.  I mean to say it does have the indicia of a typical political add.  

    We are not being spoken down to by one of those familiar “radio voices” that seems to be the narrator in every other political ad we see.  There is no large red lettering scrolling across the screen, forcing us to quickly digest a partisan political slogan which must then be regurgitated before the next slogan is shoved down our throats in the very next frame.  

    Most importantly, the ad does not have the schizophrenic excitement that seems to dominate political advertising.  You know what I mean... an entirely new visage in each frame with transition audio effects, reinforcing a new talking point that appears in text or dialog.  

    The transition from frame to frame in this beautiful ad is subtle and peaceful.  We can actually consider what is being said to the bush.  The close-out with tactfully present political message in text is equally impressive.  The message from the dialog with the bush is apparent enough and we don’t need to have it spelled out for us in large red lettering.
