I have the same problem in my business. It is just that I have one email address now that used to be my main email address that now collects nothing but the stuff that is of the lowest priority - like all the suggestions etc that I can't get to.

Everything else now has it's own 'non-public' email address. One for business, one for email lists I subscribe to, etc.

This way when I check email I am looking at one subject that I want to focus on and do not get distracted by other topics - nor do I have to spend the time going through those non-public email addresses deleting non pertinent emails (other than spam that one can't control other than what you can catch with spam filters).

It works well for me and was a bit time consuming to setup and un-subscribe from the old main address and resubscribe to the new ones and of course reprint biz cards etc. But in the end the investment in time saves me TONS of time and aggravation.

Bottom line - if people are still receiving unwanted mail at certain email addresses (sans spam of course) they have just not set themselves up properly yet.

      Just my 2 cents.
