  •  I'm sorry (2+ / 0-)

but even though we think the indies might hurt our candidates now and then, our democracy can't afford to be even more exclusive than it already is.

with all due respect. I just feel that more direct interaction between Grant and Sali would be a better use of peoples' time.

Then again, it speaks well of Idaho that they give fringe candidates a forum.

to see two third party candidates in the debate. I haven't seen that anywhere else.

        •  It just really doesn't work (0+ / 0-)

although the fringe guys are winding up espousing essentially democratic positions on most issues. It's just frustating, as Grant has had a chance to speak a grand total of four times in forty minutes since I turned on the Web stream.

By sheer chance, Sali's getting much more face time. I think the two big dogs need to go at each other. This is not working out well for Grant at all, and I think the people managing this debate have a lot to answer for.

Then again, I'm not an Idahoan. I am disappointed, though.

they'll balance each other out, each taking roughly the same number of votes on each side.
