i thought carville was a DLC centrist?

LOL.  as if carville never got it.

and if ford doesn't win in tennessee what does that say about the DLC expirement??

and if lamont doesn't win in CT, what does that say about the netroots expirement??

meh.  if ford said exactly what you wanted him to say, you'd still he didn't say it right.

i liked what he said on bill maher last night.

no.  he didn't brand them as being extremists.  he branded them as being .... scum.

so lets argue about what's more effective.

I want Lamont to win, but I won't cry when he doesn't.

    •  That it is a failure (0+ / 0-)

Hard for you to accept I know.

But time is passing you and the DLC by.

the netroots will be a consummate failure if lamont doesn't win.

If you ignore Tester, Webb, the House candidates . . .

BC,  the DLC is dead. Accept it.

          •  if you say so (0+ / 0-)

frankly i couldn't care less about the organization itself..

LOL.  Tester and Webb are clearly centrists in the DLC mode.  even if they would deny it up and down.

you see.  that's the funny thing.   we accept that they don't support gay marriage or would consider a parent notification law with respect to a minor getting an abortion...  cause they're our boys.  ford.  he doesn't support gay marriage.  what a fucking loser, man!!!!  he's trying to out extreme the repugs.

sorry.  the tester and webb campaigns are not campaigns to "throw the bums out" INCLUSIVE of the "vichy dems".  so they are good campaigns.  and when they win, it will be a win for the netroots, but it won't be a revolutionary win.  it won't be sending any "message" to anyone in DC.  it'll just be a good dem winning a hard fought election and america starting to figure it out after 6 years of darkness.

i can tell a difference between the fire inside the lamont campaign and the fire that burns inside the webb and tester campaigns.  neither of them were primaries against a certain kind of sitting democrat.   if lamont won, that would be a revolutionary win.  it would send that aforementioned "message."

I want Lamont to win, but I won't cry when he doesn't.
