    I thought for sure Reynolds was the one GOoPer who would go down in the Foley scandal.  Too optimistic?

    The Christian right is neither.

      had Reynolds with a small lead.  Davis is a really weird candidate, I must say.  He doesn't do meet and greets, he relies only on his ads.  There have been some good ads from the DCCC and a group called "Americans United" (stay the course ad).  Reynolds ads have been very effective I think.  Reynolds is doing the ultimate bamboozlement, implying Davis is going to end Social Security.  I can't help but wish that we had a better candidate here, I think a young, charismatic candidate would have killed Reynolds by now.  Reynolds could pull it out, especially since he got Bush to declare a disaster after the snowstorm (almost 2 weeks later).

        ex CA Gov. but it looks like substance beats style this here election.  NY-26 folks can well read the snow money for just that.
