  •  PA Party set themselves up for this.... (0+ / 0-)

The DLC, DSCC and the PA Democratic machine set themselves up for this by forcing Bob Casey on PA Democrats. The unfortunate truth is that Casey is against gay marriage, embryonic stem cell research and abortion rights. Someone Republicans got smart enough to use it against Casey, even though they're in the same camp themselves.

he will vote for Dem leadership that will never bring up these issues.  Go away.

I wouldn't believe Bush if his tongue became notarized (h/t to shanti2)

      •  To be fair... (0+ / 0-)

If we had information like this, that a Republican candidate agreed with our agenda, whether or not he always goes with the rest of his Party, wouldn't Dems attempt to use this information in a similar way?

I'm sorry, I don't see this as a 'dirty trick'.  Stonefeather Grubbs was right.  This is valid information that they are presenting, using his own quotes.  It may not be attractive to us.

Remember, Kerry was against abortions personally, but he believed in the right to choose.  I have recently heard other liberals saying they are personally against gay marriage but don't want to stand in the way of their rights for equal support.  And let's not forget that there were a few Dems who were taking money under the table and even got caught, even though it was hardly on the same scale.

There are Dems out there that don't agree with much of what we all want, and not all are perfect.  This is just a fact.  We need a majority now, we can clean up the party later.  But until then, it will get used against us.

So tell me, am I wrong?  Is an ad stating facts and truth, though incomplete, a dirty trick?

President Washington, President Lincoln, President Wilson, President Roosevelt have all authorized electronic surveillance on a far broader scale. -AG
