of the city of Hazleton for a local ACT office.  We ended up signing up about 2500 people between two counties, many of whom came from NYS and CT because they are so blue they never get any attention or have to make much effort on election day for the democratic candidates.  In several election cycles I have had out of state people come and they have so much fun because there is never any real excitement where they are.  In fact they never see a presidential candidate.
Anyway, all of these people came and volunteered and I was so grateful I cried and hugged them all as they left that night to drive back home.
It must be even more gratifying for you to know that these people care enough about your victory to help you out by walking and phoning.
Go get em and remember the grassroots when you get to congress.

Don Sherwood, if you campaign on family values, it helps if you have some.
