    It's important to ask questions which are fundamentally reasonable--even though they're things that the candidate really doesn't want to talk about. The voter wants to be reasonable. Seeing someone badgered with questions that are patently silly isn't going to help a voter feel reasonable in deciding to vote against that candidate.

    Asking Allen why he kept a noose and a Confederate flag in his office, hung out with (other) known racists, called people "nigger" and stuffed a deer head into a black family's mailbox--those are reasonable things.  A reasonable voter would like to hear an answer....

    Just an object lesson for those trying to corner these folks.

    Given the attitude of Musgrave in that video, and the behavior of her staff, I'd say an opportunity was missed.
