    The polling place wasn't crowded at all, there was only one person in front of me in line.  I voted a straight Democratic ticket, left most of the judicial ones blank, and then for Prop. 87 (the tax on Big Oil here in California that they've spent over $75 million trying to defeat), and against Prop. 85, which is Prop. 73 all over again, the parental notification if a minor decides to have an abortion, part of the Religious Right's plan to force their views onto Californians.

    We used InkaVote here, which is basically making ink blots on the ballot.  It was then scanned in a machine, not to record the votes, but just to make sure the ink didn't blur or spill over into other parts of the ballot.

    No problems where I was at.  Slow morning.
