  •  Now will everyone get a spine and protest? (1+ / 0-)

We can't blame this on the spineless Democrats if everyone won't stand up and protest another stolen vote.

If today the elections are stolen again and the GOP retains a majority in both the House and the Senate, then this coming Saturday could very well be our modern version of D Day, unless all of you wimp out and stay at home instead.

Everyone complains about the Democratic politicians not having spines. But when it comes right down to it, it is we the people who must have the strong backbones to fight and protect our Constitution and the American way of life.

Got courage? Come to D.C., your state capital or your local county seat and stage a sit-in.

The MSM will most likely ignore it, so it will be up to us to post videos on youtube and send links to Buzzflash and other popular political websites, including Conservative websites. My guess is that there will be a few local hotspots from which to post blogs and upload the videos.

Cindy Sheehan, political trend setter that she is, has already started a sit-in and has been warming up a seat for us in D.C. since Monday:

Sit Down for Change, Stand UP for Peace

When: November 6th through November 9th (unless the election is stolen)

Where: Layfayette Park across from the White House

    Time: 10am-8pm Daily

Civil disobedience becomes a sacred duty when the State becomes lawless or, which is the same thing, corrupt.

This is sheer genius to organize a sit down sit-in, and time the event to begin just one day before the election. It will firmly establish a daily, peaceful protest atmosphere that cannot be sabotaged by infiltrating trouble makers.

How can Bush/Cheney cause a violent confrontation betwen us and the police if all of us are sitting down with itchy trigger fingers on our locked and loaded video cameras and menacing wifi laptops?

They can't! Nonviolent, passive resistance sit-ins are the most powerful form of civil disobedience that there is.

Gandhi's strategy liberated India from imperial Britain, and it can also liberate us from the Bush/Cheney Fascists, but only if "we the people" have the spines to stand up to them with a sit-ins everywhere in the country.

    •  This is also the beginning of the end of Rove (0+ / 0-)

      and Rovian tactics:

      • Dirty, questionable elections.
      • Diebold execs forking over money to the Repubs with its president proclaiming he's going to hand the election over to his president.
      • Suppression of the black and the Latino vote.
      • Robocalls even pissing off East Coast and Southern members of my black women's listserve.  (Word to Swann and Steele...yall asses are grass, according to those who got those calls over and over again.)

I saw the pix of Mean Jean Schmitt being turned away to vote--because the machines didn't work...absolutely priceless.

Unfortunately, it's only when the shoes are on the other pair of feet that people realize...hey, this is FOUL.
