    Commentors above are right on target, in my assessment. The infrastructure of fascism must be dismantled during the next two years, and it is one place we should hold the Democrats accountable. If they simply legislate, or simply impeach, but refuse to dismantle the infrastructure, we are in a very dangerous place. The items mentioned by Captain Nimrod are all to the point. But we must also add the unitary executive, which is the mechanism by which most of those abominations Captain Nimrod mentions were foisted upon us--unitary executive, concentration of executive power, and the right wing encroachment on the judiciary. If this infrastructure remains in place, it will only be a matter of time until the infrastructure is re-used by the same or different people.

      and destroyed. In addition, there needs to be accountability and real penalties--jail time and restitution--as a deterrent to those waiting in the wings to try it again.

      We can't move forward as a country if every 12 to 20 years we have to fight back these attempts because there is no price to pay for them giving it a shot.
