    in Memphis, who have observed horrific behavior by his family both in politics and in business over many years.  That the indictment against his uncle, clearly the most publicly crazy of the family, came out within a day or two of Junior's announcement can't have helped.  

    I've been thinking, too, R o o k, about the fact that Congress was Harold, Jr.'s first job out of law school.  While I believe he is amazingly mature, this was the first time he's ever really had to campaign hard.  I wasn't there, so I don't know, but given that, being a Ford, being Black, being young, the voters would give him no room for error, maybe we shouldn't be surprised that one small error (the chasing Corker thing) gave voters an excuse to vote against him. What's your take on that?
