  •  American Soldiers are Dying in Iraq (5+ / 0-)

while the Congress goes home nice and safe to enjoy their Thanksgiving.

My stepson is in Army boot camp right now and will be in Iraq in very early 2007.

He was a special-ed kid and could not pass the military intelligence test until... just recently.

The thought of him dying for Bushiter's Folly, is sickening.

And now, the Dems pick Mr. 'Strip-Mine-K-Street' to show us all who they are really going to serve. But, "it's good for Democracy", you know.

I have re-registered as an independent, but I voted for Democrats this time. But I am going to listening for John McCain's 'secret plan' to get us the fuck out of Iraq if the troops are not out by 2008.

The Bushiter's Iraq 2004 - 1268 Dead, about 25K Medivacs and 9000 Maimed... It's the Bushiter Way, wasting other people's money and lives. And it's worse now.

      that worked out great.

      •  My Point Exactly (0+ / 0-)

The Democrats were busy calling the anti-war people traitors and trying to finesse the issue instead of looking at what the people wanted done, and the Rethugs lied their way back in.

I know because I was a young adult at the time, so this is all DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN. I am a middle-aged adult now and haven't gone senile yet.

But, 'Moderate McCain', just like 'Moderate Nixon' is going to have a LOT of appeal if the Dems don't speak plainly and get the job done.

There are plenty of Rethugs waiting to take advantage of the 'all politicans are alike' meme.
