I can't believe you sent me from your live diary to one of your old ones... I'm on to you. Nice try.

    Raj Pit?

    Don't know what you missed but I'm sure I missed something. I'll read through the old diary later to see if I can pick it up (I'm a little behind on my ek archive reading) but if you wanna enlighten me I won't protest. Where was I when you wrote that one? Oh that's right. I despised you back then. My unprince in shiny uprating...

    Is there anything you haven't written a diary to cover?

    I'm just grateful that peeder, and his evil laugh, takes the edge off of my stalking behavior.

      Mr.
without Mr.
. Somebody thought the close was optional and created an awful mess and peeder yelled at me and ct had to clean it all up.

      I'm lucky to be here to talk about it.

        This has me all excited now.

        Trying to figure out how I can use this to my advantage...

        How afraid of peeder are you and what are you willing to do to avoid his future ire?

        btw, I'm glad you're here to talk about it.

        It's working out for me.

            I was just going to do a lil' experimenting.

            But it's no fun if you'll only play with me because you're too afraid not to.

            Anyhow, we can get you new toys if it ever comes to that (there's a lot more fun to be had with water than that Neo-Con boarding thing).

            I'm liking the sound of "The Daily Ek"... er.. um... well, maybe not the sound...

            For some reason this week I found myself watching some tale in a fictional northeastern town (Swarmee Falls?) about not-enough-fish-lung chicks.

            Not a good influence on me.

                    I should have seen those coming.

                    Rabbit is one of my faves but I can't tell you why here. Ever think how Kossoks fit into fictional characters? It's a bit easier than actually assigning them human features in our heads.

                      It's odd really, ever since I've become ek I get more and more like him and that's not always good.

                        Or is ek more like you? I believe we make the choices we do for a reason. Somehow I can't imagine you any other way. On the other handle, there's any number of monikers I wish I'd taken instead. Still, there's a story behind the one I do have and I've rarely had the same name anywhere else.

                        You can fight ek's nature you know. Bounce with me!

                        It does give me an opening; I've been meaning to ask (perhaps in Ask a Kossok). If ek was your first choice, what was your second?

                            I've just revealed some of my secret geekiness which surprises everyone who finds out in the Realiverse.

                            One of the few shows I'd wake up for. And I had to because that Dumbass ABC kept bunting it around. I believe that's the gripe you find written about the show out and about on the net especially at IMDB (which slugs down my puter something awful or I'd include the link).

                            WARNING: Geeky Spoiler coming...
                            Was Elric’s Saga ever published as a compilation book? If so I may have it. I think it may be another book though like Arafel or the like. I was a member of the SF Book Club for a while and... I LOVED IT!

                            Unfortunately I read so many SF/Fantasy books I don't remember them all or even those I remember reading I don't remember the stories. Depending on how budget minded someone is that can be a good thing.

                            The sad thing is if I read about your boy, I do not remember. It does seem as though it's one I'd pursue and will certainly now.

                            Fantasy books are still my favorite. I like to escape. Diana Wynne Jones is the greatest ever. I don't even need the pre-question when it comes to her.

                            I might choose a character from one or more of her books.

                            ~~~~
                            I was going to save this to give you in WYFP but it's about to expire and I'd hate for you to have never seen it even if it is a bit outdated it does still fit a bit as us.
                            So, if ek was your first choice, what would your second have been?
                            (It's always in the last place you look)
                            Sam?
                            That makes sense. The R name has a serious soft spot for me. I don't really have a favorite movie though I did watch Excalibur several times and Rocket Man makes me laugh everytime I think of it and I usually despise Monkey movies.
                            Well, 12 Monkeys is really good.
                            Dancing in the Rain is very good though for the elder movies. I adored Bing's velvet voice and still love the duet he did with David Bowie. I guess I watch Cool Hand Luke over and over again too.
                            I'd go with Derkholm in my next dKos life.
                            try this one- Eddy Hall, available (so is Elric, damn you no sock puppet rule!)  No good links but one of 2 principal characters in books I ♥ very much but don't have copies of- Diamond in the Window and Swing in the Summerhouse.
                            They are part of the Hall Family Chronicles by Jane Langton who is also author of the Homer Kelly Mysteries.
                            Her son Christopher (and here we are back at Christopher, I mean- Paris, how you going to keep 'em down in the Hollow now that they've seen Paree.  This is turning out to be just like Dean predicted!) is a computer scientist and has his own wiki entry but she doesn't.
                            The best I can do for now is these links from Amazon-
                            They don't hint at how life changing these books are and I'm too tired to go into it now, but if they fell on your head in a library you might take a look before you pitched 'em.
                            Boogers is not taken.
                            Thought they slept through Paris? Hate to say it but I'd rather sleep in Paris than have a restaurant to myself (not all that big on that French food either -- snails are for ducks -- and what ducks are for).
                            So you don't like Christopher eh? What's the alternative that I've no clue about?
                            Anyway, they seem happy and they're married now. Who's Dean?
                            Okay, you wanna know what's funny? When jotter was doing his alphabet series for his Tip Jar (or Raj Pit if you'd prefer), I looked up and read all about Langton's Lambda because of ya know, Rabid Lambs... (if I hafta explain it then it's no good).
                            Hey! Are you going to do a lil' history for New Users Guide eventually too?
                            Because I believe in Independent and Union I'll provide alternative links (not just to be an a**) and Amazon kinks up my puter too.
                            The Diamond in the Window
                            The Swing in the Summerhouse
                            They look good and exactly like something I would read (I've liked the middle readers and young adult the best these last few years -- like Inkheart and Artemis Fowl as well as Abarat. Your books seem reminiscent of Ruth Chew aimed a bit younger but still great stories and I'd never heard of her 5 years ago. Rare books, treasures to find (then sell on eBay).
                            Tell me later about life changes. It will give me something to look forward to (and I'll be in WYFP). Eddy Hall is a good name but you're already usually next to Eddie Haskell when you two rec something. It might get more confusing if you shared a first name and part of another.
