    are using ...to say if someone were not born gay... they just don't get the same rights...

    Some try and dismiss the issue by saying it was a choice rather than being born gay.So they can justify treating gays differently... and they use religion to   support the claim.

    Frankly it should not matter one bit... equal is equal and the law needs to make sure of that... not discriminate against anyone.

      ...being a transsexual lesbian, which means that by choosing to have a sex-change and not changing my orientation towards women, I have for all intents and purposes chosen to be a lesbian.  Granted, the option was probably "dead", but still...

        of being born like that... your sexuality is different from your gender...at least that is what I believe...so for me I can see you being born one way... needing to change your sex... but being a lesbian. Maybe I see things too simplistically... but to me you were born a lesbian...in a male's body.
