It's pretty self explanatory. One attack is newsworthy. It's the systemic lack of coverage that is amazing. If you haven't read the article, yeah, your missing something.

For example, the article includes this comment:

The health center would have been destroyed if its sprinkler system hadn’t activated, police reported. Damage estimates were not available late Tuesday.

It is a miracle no one was injured. Often, there are sick and injured people in the lobby of a health center--people who are not able to leap nimbly to safety, should a vehicle crash into the lobby.

I read the article again: his attack was at dawn, so the clinic was probably closed, no patients.

He must have chosen that time to ensure that he did not kill any fetuses.

a security guard (didn't Eric Rudolph kill a security guard in one of his clinic bombings?), or perhaps a receptionist or someone coming in early to take care of paperwork...the intent was there, even though he was unsuccessful.

At dawn, there might well have been security guards or early-arriving staff, so any attempt to destroy a building through arson or explosives would surely create a risk of killing or seriously injuring people (other than himself).

Since he thought this was an abortion clinic, he may have chosen an early hour so as to avoid killing pregnant women--the women themselves being rather horrible people since they wanted abortions, but the fetuses being in need of protection.
