    on March 20, 2003. The entire city was shut down, effectively closed for business. I've never seen so many people in my life. From what I saw in the news, this was true in every small town and major city across the U.S. -- and the rest of the world as well. Millions and millions of people.

    And during the Republican National Convention in August 2004, there were so many protesters in NYC that the streets of Lower Manhattan were filled with people. Not a single car (or even a bicycle) could get through anywhere.

    I'm wondering where you've been.
