    people recoil from seeing what real activism looks like and defensively become more willing to let the government do whatever it wants.  Hard to predict.

    Your Eric Rudolph example is relevant to whether a jury should want to nullify, and of course I agree with you on that.  My point was about whether they are more or less likely to do so.

    My apologies to students who took my U.S. Government class in the 90s: evidently the Constitution doesn't limit Presidential power after all. Who knew?
