is how you backpedal when asked about your evidence of a conspiracy. Instead of standing by what you were trying to imply, you say no, no, not me, I was just asking some "interesting questions." You then try to prove your point by advancing the strawman argument that I have somehow denied the existence of other historical conspiracies. I haven't, and I'm didn't ask my question because you "vehemently question[ed] authority[.]" I asked it because your comment clearly implied you believed JFK Jr. was murdered and the murder was covered up.

So again, assuming everthing you said is true, do you believe those facts amount to evidence of a conspiracy?

I don't have time for a debate, nor did I indicate I was looking for one. What is interesting is your contempt prior to investigation. If you paid attention you would see a link posted by a previous respondent. Start there. I am not here to do your research (I doubt you are interested anyway) so have at it.

      •  You (0+ / 0-)

        were the one who said:

Why was the co-pilot seat missing and not recovered? What happened to the log, the one that contained the passenger manifest? Were you aware John Jr hardly ever flew without a co-pilot? That he was no rookie and had hundreds of hours logged? That no S&R got under way for hours? Not until Clinton himself got on the phone and ordered one at 7 AM, 8 hours after the crash?

You should look up some stuff before you start mouthing what the media has told you to believe.

I simply asked you, assuming everthing you said is true, whether you believe the facts you posted amount to evidence of a conspiracy.

    •  People murder for a lot less (8+ / 0-)

If you've ever watched forensic files on CourtTV you'll know that people are murdered for all sorts of petty amounts of money and reasons.

Why is it always so far-fetched to think that when tens  or hundreds of millions of dollars are at stake or significant political power that these things don't happen?

It seems very likely that all sorts of murders are carried out when these stakes are so high.

...you are just terrified of anything that challenges your little world view.

I don't know about JFK Jr., but evidence of conspiracy abounds in the anthrax affair.  You simply refuse to look at it; You're either terrified of it or in on it in some sort of extremely minor way, possibly unwittingly.

I'm not. I do, however, have a background in science, and I am skeptical by nature. I also tend to be offended by those who put forth wholly unsupported claims, especially about science. These kind of people are everywhere. In the mid-90s, some in the lab I worked for used a message board that was supposed to be a technical board for scientists and research technicians working with HIV. It was a wonderful resource for sharing research methods and other information, but it was taken over by anti-science conspiracy theorists who believed (1) AIDS was not caused by HIV; and/or (2) there is no such thing as HIV. Their theories were founded on "evidence" much like what is being put forth here: "it's a little too convenient that X is involved, isn't it?" To me this is no different than those right-wingers who deny evolution or who deny the existence of global warming.
