    And seriously stretching things in order to try to get  more power than they deserved.  It's actually pretty damn embarassing how little the Republicans managed to get done with a 10 seat majority.  

    In Britain they admit to having royalty. In the United States we pretend we don't have any, and then we elect them president.

      that it didn't take much to keep us in line at best and ignorant at worse.

      Look, if you play poker you know the rules of poker AND the rules of the table upon which you play. You don't jump into a strange poker game without knowing everything you need to know.

      If you play baseball, you read and know the rules of the game. No surprises, no dumb mistakes.

      It only follows that our elected officials should be VERY knowledgable of what they can and can't do at all times.

      I feel like I'm getting 80% of what I'm paying for in this game.

      I feel sick.
