    but he pointed out that this a.m. on This Week the obvious: that in 1938, Time had Hitler as its man of the year ... because at that time, they had the guts to actually make a serious news judgment.  

    This year -- as Will said -- it absolutely should have been Ahmedinejad ... not because he has the potential to be another Hitler, but because the Bushits believe he does. Or probably more accurately, they believe they can get a lot of political mileage out of painting him that way. Either way, practically their entire Middle Eastern policy is now based on that rhetorical conceit.
