Is a classic racist image of a black man.  ANd the drawing of George Soros looks like something out of Nazi propaganda.

      Whatchoo talkin' about, Willis?
I'll go so far as to agree that the imagery is strident, but racist? I suspect that maybe you're reading something into it that isn't there. Or more likely, reading something into it that Wonkette told you to read.
As a black man, I tend to keep my own counsel about what constitutes racism. I don't see it here.

Nazi propaganda art. . . you'll see plenty of examples, and the great majority will remind you strongly of the "NRA" material you posted.

Everything he does is reminiscent of WWII Nazi propaganda art whether intentional or not.

          Observe:

And this is a children's picture book about the poem "America the Beautiful"!
IOW, any "racist overtones" concluded by the artwork are due to your interpretation.

The Nazi stuff plated up Jewish steriotypes for racist reasons, but even those similar to typical caractachure cartoonists, who often exagerrate features. You can't dismiss a long standing style of artwork that pre-dates Nazism by centuries, simply because it was exploited for propeganda reasons.

with the graphic opposite the page titled "Illegal Alien Gangs"? (See here.)

What about this image of a devil? To my eye, his features seem quite Africanized.

In fact, I think Wonkette got this right....

The demonic TV announcer doesn't look like a black caricature to me tho'. check it out next to Ray Nagin:
Red skin, thin lips, straight hair...why am I supposed to think it's some sort of subliminal code-speak for "darkie"?
What exactly is the message there, that Tom Brokaw is really black? And how do you suppose the pow-wow to create the image went? "Make a picture of a demonic black guy spewing alarmist crap from the TV"? That doesn't even begin to make sense. I repeat: you're reading too much into something that's not there.

As for the gang-bangers, I find it to be darkly humerous that drunken frat boys are throwing up the same hand signals as street thugs, but am I supposed to be so politically correct that I can't admit that most latin and asian gang members are latino and asian??

What bothers me is that this pamphlet touches on those subjects at all. Media hysteria and immigration reform are not issues that the NRA should be concerned with IMO.

All this wailing and gnashing of teeth over imagery that has been the hallmark of this guys career (his work is widely available in nearly any magazine you care to pick up) speaks to me of people that are more interested in tangents than the core issue.

the NRA is addressing race in this alleged publication of theirs, as I said, I'm waiting for proof that they had anything to do with its creation.
