  •  And Gannon! (0+ / 0-)

There was one State House victory in Delaware County: Bryan Lentz beat former majority leader Tom Gannon in the 161st, where I used to live. There should be four Delco districts right at the top of our hit-list: 162 through 165, which all lie between the 161st and West Philly.

With Bucks, Montgomery, and Chester at their all time highs, Delaware should be too.  In both the 1974 and 1976 elections, the Democrats had five House seats in Delaware County in a total of six different districts.

Right now, we have only three Democrats in the legislature from Delaware County, despite significant and favorable demographic change there over the years.

Sestak's election to Congress should have enormous continuing benefits in the years to come.

Progressive Democrats have done a lot of good for our country in the past, and can do a lot more in the future. Let's keep going strong.

3 Democrats (Melio, Galloway, and King) in the House and none in the Senate is an all-time high for Bucks? Wow, that's sad.

I think we can beat Steil (31) next time. Petri (178) deserves a more concerted challenge than Marion "Les" Leszczynski (sp?). If Harry Fawkes picks Gene DiGirolamo to run for Congress, we should be able to take the 18th.
