  •  i buy produce from a locally run ... (6+ / 0-)

... health food store. the produce they sell is grown by people who live here.

on occasion, i buy the mass produced Dole organic variety at the grocery store (not Wal-Mart, though - I haven't set foot in a Wal-Mart in several years, although I might have to go into one this week to get a reasonably priced car battery)

... in any case, i'll buy the organic salad mix or cauliflower at the grocery - but i really don't like to. and it really doesn't taste as good as the local stuff, especially the greens.

in addition, despite washing, about half the time i eat the Dole variety organic salad mix, i get a bug, if you catch my drift. doesn't happen with anything else, not even local greens, and isn't a problem i'm inclined to. that alone makes me very, very, very skeptical of the stuff.

Cornbread is square, but pi are round.
