  •  He'll just go... (none)
sit on some corporate or well-funded nonprofit boards, do the $50K+-a-pop lecture circuit thing, write a tell-all book, go hobnob and do "show-and-tell" with McNamara, sail off into the sunset to Bali...

Rummy's life, other than not being Secy of Defense, will not change one iota.

president gas is tap dancing for the banker he's a thief; he isn't very honest, but he's obvious at least...

    •  I don't think he'll just go (none)
Rummy's a multizillionnaire. He's over 70. Why isn't he sitting on the deck of his yacht in the Carribbean instead of working 14 hour days at the Pentagon? Because he wants power and he won't let it go easily.

I don't think he'll be fired for the same reason I think Tenet is still there: they know, literally, where the bodies are buried.

    •  He'll be miserable (none)
He'll no longer have what is most important to him:  power and attention.  He'll hate being just another rich guy.
