    If Iraq splits up into 3 states, Turkey and Syria will attack the Kurdish state if they can. They will have to, because a Kurdish state would destabilize their own countries. An Iraqi Kurd state would be sort of like a mini-Israel in the middle east. It wouldn't matter how the middle east feels about Syria. They would support Syria's efforts to contain it's own internal minorities.
