    Yesterday, my seventh-grader brought home an opt-out form for "Super Size Me" (which I can kind of understand, since Morgan S talks about how his sex life went to pot after he gained his McD weight - that's the only possibly objectionable thing I recall from the movie).

    That's exactly how the district should handle this. Let the wingnuts opt out their kids if Gore's message offends their tender sensibilities. But it's ridiculous to ban this important film based on one parent's anti-truth jihad.
