I'd vote for him if he ran, but I doubt he will. Everybody would start talking about 2000 all over again and many would suggest that he was a sore loser. Plus, he's said that he can get more done as he is than he would as President.

      He never said that.

He can easily change the subject from that. We will be there tell people that Gore won (and won 6 times before that, the last time in a landslide senate re-election where he won all the counties).

the sore loser defense does not hold water in the American system. Did people call Richard Nixon a 'sore loser' when he ran again and won after losing to John F. Kennedy? and if they did it did n't work, did it. Gore is by far the most experienced and balanced individual on the horizon and you don't think if Hilary Clinton runs and wins the nomination the nation will not bring up the entire Monica thing/ we shall be condemned to a total re-run. Everyone carries baggage. My point is Gore is the best person to lead America into probably the most crucial eight years of the planet's existence. Let us focus on telling that story instead  of doubting his intentions. And no-one can do more as a private citizen than they can as president. What we have now is proof of that pudding, otherwise we could stop Bush dead in his tracks.
