    And after setting him up with all the "unitary executive" and signing statements bullshit, they may realize what a kook he really is.

    I just hope that the next president, a Democrat, will actually go on the record and remove most of the power from the Presidency that has been snatched by this administration.

    Fat chance of that though, eh?

      If they don't criticize the president, they loose all credibility, because they hyped up the ISG report as the end-all be-all.  It is it too soon and to much of a watched subject to just let it slide down the memory hole.  If they do criticize the president, then that reflects badly on the Republicans, who they would love to keep in power.  They are in a real catch-22 situation.  Because Dubya didn’t play ball, they realize their grip over their puppet is slipping.  And it could destroy the reign of Republicans for a very long time.  If they attack Dubya, they make the Dems look stronger.  If they don’t attack him, they loose market share and relevance – because the public has already moved beyond them.
