    Not so surprisingly, the column is by Byron York.
    There may be more than one link. I'll try to find out.

    The study was done a few years ago, but the Psychology Today's article seems to be new.

        meta-analysis first came out in Psych Bulletin. However, I don't think any of them actually read it (I did). It included studies culled from all over the world -- tens of thousands of participants, and all they were saying was that liberals and conservatives, in general, have different personalities and thinking styles.

        In fact, the authors even explicitly stated in the meta-analysis that the results were not meant to imply that liberalism was somehow better than conservativism, or vice versa.

        The George Wills and Maggie Gallaghers completely ignored that, and used the meta-analsyis to bolster some point that academia was corrupt, blah, blah.
