    if there is an argument to be made -- in the United States, at least -- that that by allowing exemptions for Christian and Jewish sects, the State is violating the Establishment clause in another way.  There have already been rulings stating that Native Americans who use peyote in religious ritual are still subject to the anti-drug laws.  Yet to allow exemptions for discrimination against homosexuals by religious organizations would seem to violate the reasoning in these decisions.  Can any of the lawyers out there comment on this?
