with the powers that be.  I'm making the contribution under my own name, not under anyone else's.  I'm simply asking the organizers to admit some of my guests.  Since the contributions are voluntary in any case it's not like I'm providing people with tickets (although I don't think that would be a problem as long as it were done in my name and I didn't reach whatever statutory maximum is allowed, which is not a worry).

Don't blame me -- I voted for Weicker.

This is how you do it without being in violation of campaign rules.  I have done this often at fundraising events

You become a member of the host committee, I am a member of the host committee of this event for example.  You write a check for the other amounts listed - other than the minimum $50--- like $250,$500 or $1000 and then you have guests and you tell the organizers to admit your guests.

If you guests once they get there want to donate some other smaller sum like $10 that would be nice.

contact me at my email d7eb at aol.com and since I am a host member I will add some of them as guests.

If you can afford a ticket do so, but if you can't, as I said, consider making some donation once you are there.
