How long does it take the Senators to learn their own rules?

How is the general public supposed to remember all those armtwisting, tricky Senate rules they use to shrink their opponents into nothingness?

How can you guys live with that? Are the Senate rules made that way, so that Political Science majors, who want to make money as Hill staffers, have something "scientific" to do?

Oh, and I apologize too in advance, because I am sure I will never understand those rules, even if Big Tent Democrat would show his best of attitudes and would try to explain them to me personally, I wouldn't be able to remember them the next day, without a cheat sheet guide for dummies.

You are my heros from now on, thereisnospoon and Big Tent Democrat!
