    it's an empty argument.  Please tell me how the WH could have forced Libby to commit perjury, whether as a "sacrifice" or for any other reason.  Once he took the  oath  he  had the  obligation to tell the truth and if he didn't--it's perjury.  It is similar to the Clinton lawyers argument that he  was forced into a "perjury trap."  Sounds good but doesn't work in court.

    I appreciate your taking the time to resond.  You rock!

      It is an empty argument. And one I suspect designed to explain away more incriminating interpretations of Cheney's note.

      But they're arguing it vigorously in any case and therefore Walton would likely have to admit it.
