it was called "Luke's Google Free Stock Photography Search Site".  Until you search it and waste your time, you don't know if it's relevant or not, which it wasn't (except for ponies).  People who use photos to illustrate their comments and diaries will have to go through so many hit and misses-I'm just empathizing.  No question your growing list is a wonderful resource to have, it's just a helluva lot of work compared to what it used to be like.  Hell, even I used to post quickie pics on another website I was on, and it was a lot of fun.  My heart goes out to those who rely on images and who have successfully managed spontaneous creativity in the past snagging google images. I'll get over it.  I just need time to grieve for my compadres.  Hand me one of those tissues Nonnie, and not the one you have wadded up in your pocket either.

i have no idea what i will do with the thousands of pics i have in my photobucket. however, a challenge can be fun, too.
by the way, i only referred to some of my notes to find the sites that mentioned google. there might be others on the main table. the tables not only give the names of the sites, but some of what you might find there, as well as an idea of how good the particular site is. hopefully, that will narrow the search considerably. i know that when i was trolling the internets in hopes of finding some good sites, i saw some that were really different and interesting.

and please don't waste your valuable time pointing things out to me, cuz I'm not using pics right away and others really need you guys.  You know, what you said about a challenge being fun too is so apt-sometimes having deadlines and restrictions can really force a different kind of creativity which is all good.  Ok ok ok, I'm going with that optimistic view for now since you won't indulge my slagging whining.

I'll tell you again how astounded I am at this phenomenonal effort by you and your cohorts.  Of course I do wonder how copyright law will settle down the road if people on a mass scale are not pushing the envelope-but that's not for me to decide.  And meanwhile, there are illustrated opinions that need expressing, like immediately.  So Godspeed, or Naturespeed, or Kosspeed, just burn baby burn!
