they want a new set of rules

we've offered them upperdown votes on McCain Warner... they've turned that down

it's also very interesting - with all due respect to senator from nebraska,...

what more could we give them than what they asked for last week

now they want the gregg amendment

this vote is about fairness but has little to do about fairness to the minority

this vote is about being fair to 132K troops, being fair to bipartisans who seek to state their opposition to the president's escalation

we owe it to our troops and the people to have a real debate

    most pressing issue, Iraq

senate directly by the repubs sat silent

as hundreds of billions of dollars spent - no debate

as iraq fell into chaos... president's plan failing

    no debate on Iraq

as Senators we cannot allow the silence to continue

this majority will not allow it

    our troops need our help

need a branch that will exercise its responsibilities

wonder what sunni and shia politicians thought when new leader told american pres he wanted troops out of baghdad

no vote is a green light to george bush to move forward

sending 48K more troops and 27 billion extra dollars

no vote is a vote in support of this pres... policy of failure in iraq

    holding hands with the president

must heed results of people - elections in november

and excellent job of spelling 'upperdown' correctly.
