    I mean, all those CEO's are giving so much money to charity -- like their alma maters, or some museum, or even to hungry kids -- what difference does it make that their own employees aren't making a living wage, or just barely, or have a quality of life that would send the CEO's screaming into the night?  Their hearts are definitely in the right place, aren't they, even if they don't give time off to a single mom with an asthmatic kid, 'cause they responded to Red Cross appeals after Katrina, eg? I mean, I'm SO grateful that they not only are earning so much money, but are keeping more of it thanks to the Bush tax cuts -- what would we do without them to decide what our proper domestic division of resources should be....?

    (Note: I know that there are some CEO's who really do care about their employees, and treat them as the assets they are.  Too bad they're such a minority.)
