Face it guys.  Obama comes off as 'phony'.

Oh, of course anyone who criticizes Obama is a racist.

So what, any talk of Obama before he became the creature of the media consultants is immediately racist and out of bounds?  You aren't going to be able to talk about this guy who certainly talks white and his career in Chicago politics without mentioning race.  So, is all of that out of bounds?

Is the only thing we get to here about Obama is what his media campaign decides to release?  Or is it only nice little bland fluff pieces that's allowed?

And you are calling Salon.com racist?  Give me a break.

Wow, its amazing how fast the Democrats fall into nasty name calling and smears.  If anyone doesn't just accept the myth they try to create around yet another useless candidate, then lets just jump straight into smearing them as 'racist'.

Why do the Dems love these candidates that are so obviously phony?  I've yet to see anything from Bland Obama that says anything to me other than that he the darling of consultants that have crafted yet another phony candidate.  He's got the Kerry trick down pretty good.  That is he can stand up and talk for awhile, and look and sound interesting.  And it sounds good until you think back about what he really said and where the meat of the substance of his talk was.  Then you realize there wasn't any 'there' there.

Yet another phony Dem.  It won't work.  It won't work any better than the media-consultant crafted Al Gore worked in 2000, and it won't work any better than the media-consultant crafted John Kerry worked in 2004.  In fact, it will work even less well in 2008 because there's a distinct move in the American citizenry away from believing this sort of phony candidate.  That should work in favor of the Dems against ghouls like McCain and Gulliani.  But not if you nominate yet another candidate who comes across as phony.

This article tells you Bland Obama was perceived as phony early on by what's going to be a very key Dem constituiency in 2008.  You should listen.

But instead, we are obviously going to get two years of people crying 'racist' about anyone who dares to question the consultant crafted myth of Saint Bland Obama who's here to save us all.

    Yuck!

is just slightly nasty in tone. It's interesting that we now have mostly younger kossacks defending, or at least okay with, the usage of "uppity" just as some were defending Biden, and before that, even George Allen. I'm not sure whether to feel encouraged by it, or concerned that they seem to have no knowledge of history.
