    ...even permitting a vote on a non-binding resolution.  It was a vote against cloture, so it's one degree of separation from the non-binding resolution.  

    The revolution will not be televised, but we'll analyze it to death at The Next Hurrah.

      on a non-binding measure that criticizes the president. I thought the meaning of it being allowable to break the Sabbath to save a life meant something like it's OK to drive your uncle to the ER if he's having a heart attack. You know, life, a living human being, not the survival of the Republican Party.

      Global warming denial has become the intellectual -- and moral -- equivalent of Holocaust denial.
