When you are a worker bee, you swing the way your employer wants you too. I work with ardent dems in a decidedly republican/libertarian think tank. They pay me to a do specific job well and, you know...I do it. That is simply how you get paid in this town. Ethics? Stances? Hell no. There is one political party in this town, it's greed. Sure, we would love to see our ideals implemented but in order to get to a position to implement change we have to play dirty like the rest of them. Yes, the ends justify the means.

Obama seems to have understood the game and is playing it well. I am SICK & TIRED of the dems touting a "we're above such games" when it is clear they are NOT. Obama is a smart man and understands the dynamics it takes to WIN against the noise machine. I applaud his ability to say, "no more mister nice guy, we're playing to win"

    Obama has my vote.

yeah, like the trouncing the dems took in 2000 and 2004 wasn't enough to teach them a lesson?

and it's more than a little disturbing those administering the "lesson" to the dems really aren't all that bright-- they're just very good at what they do.
