    I have seen a "improve your trailer" booklet, a spiral bound jobby, that has lots of ideas for improving mobile homes, and among them was a chapter on adding a Trombe wall, basically glass in front  of a dark "maze" such that the air comes in the bottom, gets heated as it goes through the maze, and exhausts out the top. There was also an article in Mother Earth News for this kind of system recently (but for a garage or workshop).

      window version of this system in the spare bedroom  and they work great. I need to add a window in the south wall of my livingroom and it would help loads.
