    No, the most distant relation between any two people is likely to decrease, not increase, with time. The only way to get 36th cousins, from a population where the most distantly-related people are 35th cousins, would be if both parents of one cousin were 35th cousins of both parents of the other cousin. Unless that were to happen, the most distant relation in the next generation would be much closer than 35th cousins.
