    Words fail me-

Just wanted to tell you that you put the so-called journalists to shame.

    Exactly where they belong.

Thanks so much for all you do. Part and parcel of the desperation that drove these poor souls to take their lives might have been healed with a little milk of human kindness-- some nominal care, attention-- even minimally some hint of recognition.

But without even so much as a grateful nation recognizing their efforts--- well, as I said... words fail me.

They can barely achieve anything above the crawl at the bottom of the screen, where they're reduced to a number within a number.

Keep up all your fine work.  Really an incredible service you are performing.

...though I couldn't do this type of diary without those on-the-beat reporters out there who toil away in their local communities, interviewing the families and bringing these heartbreaking stories to public attention. Sorry I haven't cross-posted; I am literally struggling to stay on top of my responsibiliites right now, and have a hard enough time getting a diary up here even once or twice a month.

Btw, when is our next CCN Troops & Vets installment due? I'd like to start geting something together in a bit more timely manner this time.

Schedule is very loose right now...

Seems sometime mid April for the next Troops & Vets, pending our International Series get back for an early April run.  Pick a date!  In any case, Reickhoff has asked we give him an advance heads up so he can put up something about it at IAVA too.

Congratulations on the excellent reviews for your book too!

        ilona ROCKS!

Paul has been a great help and support, as have you guys.

As for date, why not Friday, April 27 for draft completion? And I'll write it on my calendar to get something in there at the very latest by that Monday, sheesh! It could go live on Monday, April 30 -- which just so happens to be the day before the book arrives in stores.

I can't believe it's that close already...and I have two papers to research and write before that time for my classes at NIU. Ugh. Will make the Troops & Vets series entry happen, very happily, though. Thank you for having me be a part of everything great that's going on over at CCN.

Go live with the book release and please be sure to make mention of it at the top of the entry.  MONDAY 4-30-07.

We have it in our Amazon Module on the front page now too. : )

            Thanks again!
