    a Special Prosecutor.

    He was Special Counsel.

    Special prosecutor has the ability to write reports on investigations, special counsel does not.  Big difference.

    Either way, he is a credit to his profession.  Absolute integrity.

    A success that hasn't occured yet.

      But my larger point was that there are several categories of federal "investigators", each of which has different duties, roles and powers, and that Fitz's was one of the more if not most limited kind, and that he was masterful in remaining within its legal limits while at the same time making the absolute most of them.

      A credit to his profession in more ways than one.
