    and even creepier is that the same thing is true with people food. Now those of us into local, sustainable farming are not looking  like such kooks anymore. How anyone can still eat meat coming  from those ConAgra and other gigantic corporate butchers I just don't know. (I'm a vegetarian but if I weren't, I would have stopped eating meat after a friend of mine moved to Garden City, Kansas and started reporting on the packing plants there)

      Why is it that problems at (allegedly) only one pet food processing plant can taint 60 million servings of pet food?

      Why is it that problems in the water supply at only one farm can cause tainted spinach to show up in at least 38 states?

      It's just wrong.  Centralization of the food supply chain, for pets as well as humans, poses enormous dangers.

      So this is how liberty dies -- with thunderous applause.
