    I surely hope the public won't stand for another judicial coup like the one that put Bush into power in 2000. If the courts refuse to get involved there would be a huge outcry. Say what you want about seperation of powers and lack of politics on the judicial side of things. If the courts don't take a stand there will be issues...

      That is one that we wish SCOTUS had turned down; you have to remember that a good solid minority of SCOTUS currently see Roe v Wade as something that can still be judicially altered and most are good Republican soldiers which means they will vote their ideology not the Constitution.
      Remember Bork isn't the only one who believes in Original Intent (Intelligent Design for Constitutional scholars)
