...I so love that I can GO TO THE FARM and see where my actual food is being grown. So much food you can't do that with. We've been meaning to visit the dairy where he gets his milk from too - it's in the north bay (we've driven by it but not when we had time to stop in). We hear they have a methane digester that powers the farm! Too bad they don't do a lactose-reduced variety or I'd buy their milk too.

Recently with the Menu Foods pet food recall my boyfriend has been trying to find new food to give his cats because he found out that what he thought was a small responsible company was actually sourcing food from Menu Foods completely unbeknownst to us (their food is not part of the current recall but we'd still like to avoid this problem in the future). But apparently there are NO "cuts and cravy" style cat foods that are NOT made by menu foods and the cats can't stand the pate' (that's me not knowing how to do the accent mark) style food. And the vet says they need to eat wet food so they don't become overweight (which one of them was approaching for a while). Yeah I know they're just cats but they should be able to eat local and organic too!!

my two little princesses refuse to eat anything but science diet hairball formula. This past time I bought them the same stuff just reduced calorie and they did a 2 day hunger strike and a lot of protesting meows over it.

Think you've seen all the liberal T-shirts? Think again - there's more!
