    •  A little harsh, no? (16+ / 0-)

There's a weekly roundup of action diaries, because there are a lot of diaries that seek to pull people from interacting on the computer screen alone.  But also remember that, in an age where information (and disinformation) play a large part in our political discourse, having a place to share that information isn't a bad thing.

You're acting like it's an either/or thing: either talk or do.  I think quite a few people here do both, and the ones that are just talking aren't likely to start doing if they leave the computer screen.

to clarify: there needs to be a lot less talk and a lot more action-- given the massively off course and criminal executive branch.

    •  It might be my wife (16+ / 0-)

not asking for Medicaid or insurance for pregnant patients to get started with prenatal care. It might be Elizabeth Edwards showing leadership in the fight against cancer and for the rights of victims of disease to pursue life to the fullest. It might be bloggers reviewing stacks of information to support investigation of possible crimes committed by the Bush administration.

There are many ways to support progressive action. Each one of us can choose our way.

And each of us DOES choose our way,
If all a person can do is take some of what he or she gleans from the most learned of our colleagues, and uses it to inform the people they are in contact with daily I thnk it is doing a lot.

It might be bloggers reviewing stacks of information to support investigation of possible crimes committed by the Bush administration.

        POSSIBLE crimes?

that one is a total time waster.

nobody in congress, yes-- that includes democrats-- intends to prosecute the bush administration for their obvious, astonishing crimes.
