  •  I'm wondering if a significant amount is his ... (0+ / 0-)

personal money.  I haven't seen the wording of his press release, but given the fact that Hillary is claiming she raised $36 million on the basis of a $10 million transfer from her Senatorial campaign committee, it wouldn't surprise me if Romney is counting his personal money in his "money raised."

And by the way, for anybody wondering why Hillary wasn't transferring more of her Senatorial campaign money to other Democratic candidates who needed it in the last election, I guess that question has now been answered.  Some of our candidates like Harold Ford (TN), Charlie Brown (CA-04), Angie Paccione (CO-04), Dianne Farrel (CT-04), Christine Jennings (FL-13), Tammy Duckworth (IL-06), Patricia Madrid (NM-01), and numerous others who lost relatively narrowly could have really used some of that money.

But Bill Clinton managed the hitherto unprecedented feat of winning election to the Presidency twice in elections in which Democrats actually lost seats in Congress, and it looks like Hillary wouldn't mind following in his footsteps in that regard.
