Tony Parker, co-founder of "A Call to Men,"  is an educator and activist for 20 years and advocates a message that society continues to resist:  Sexism leads to violence. Men have been receptive to his message, which is presented in a nondefensive manner and advocates the social responsibility of all men to be part of the solution to ending violence against women:

"I can't judge men for their behavior because our culture creates these problems of violence. I try to show men how they participate in sexism in their everyday lives, to challenge them about social responsibility. Once men are presented with the influences of sexism in society, then they can be held accountable for their response." During the seminar, men in the audience are invited to participate in critiquing a number of images. This opens a forum for discussion on the subtle influences of sexism. Mr. Porter says that his goal is to shift social norms to influence change in men's behavior, and to be instrumental in redefining manhood within our culture."

The are programs globally focused on ending sexism to end domestic violence.
